I was doodling a bit and came up with an idea for a weary hero narrative...thing. The hero who is tired from his trials and travels, but who knows he has this one more task...or something lame like that. The problem I am running into is that my antagonist is lame. Just...not doing it for me. I think deciding on the setting will help(I am leaning toward an overgrown, mossy, dark, mirkwood-esque dealy), but I think I am going to go the more "force of nature" route and make the creature itself overgrown and a dangerous and fantastical element of the forest itself. i tried it as just a simple troll type idea and it is very hum drum. I used some vellum and overlayed some horns etc and it's just too...balor.anyone?
